Ambassador Hosts Dinner with China InstituteOn February 7th, 2009, Ambassador Wu Jianmin hosted a dinner meeting organized by the China Institute to sit down with leaders in business, government, and education to discuss the future state of US and China Affairs. Ambassador Wu served as China's ambassador to France, to the United Nations' Office in Geneva and to other international organizations in Switzerland and the Netherlands. He is also the former president of China Foreign Affairs University and the honorary president of the International Bureau of Exhibitions. Ambassador Wu's main message to the twenty five guests was that US / China Relations needs to be centered around shared needs and goals while respecting each society's differences.2/8/09 The PDF files on this page require the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. |
