China Institute Hosts Chair of Beijing Song Zhu Hui Trade Co. Ltd.

On June 8th, 2009, The China Institute hosted Mr. Li Quan Zhi, the Chairman & General Manager of Beijing Song Zhu Hui Trade Co., Ltd. Mr. Li enlisted Allan Guo, the Executive Director of the China Institute, to introduce him to Massachusetts and provide an overview of the investment options for clean energy in the Commonwealth. Senior Vice President, Marcellette Williams, also met with Mr. Li on behalf of the University of Massachusetts President's Office. Senior Vice President Williams detailed the multiple research and community initiatives in green energy underway at all University of Massachusetts campuses. Impressed with the range of clean and green energy technology in the Commonwealth, Mr. Li is in the process of identifying a multi-million dollar investment project in Massachusetts clean energy technology and research.
